I had procrastinated watching this movie for quite some time, and how I regret it now! It is definitely one of the better movies I have seen lately, and one of the best performances delivered by an actress. Helen Mirren undoubtedly deserves the Oscar for doing more than justice to her role in this movie. Though I haven't seen some of the other Oscar nominees in their roles, I feel they would be nowhere close to Helen. Go watch the movie, if not for the storyline (although I loved that too!!), then for Helen Mirren's acting. You won't regret it. I assure you!
