Will & Grace (or Jack & Karen)

After having watched the first season of LOST, I found it pretty boring and decided to switch onto some other tv series. I though of giving W&G a try and loved it so much, that within just one week, I have already seen the first season and am halfway into the second one. (Yes, I sat on my ass and watched it for god knows how many hours non-stop on Saturday, and intend to do the same on Sunday..hehe).

For those who haven't got around seeing it, W&G has 4 main characters - Will (a gay lawyer), Grace (a straight designer and Will's best friend), Jack (a gay guy who is Will's very good friend) and Karen (Grace's secretary who is filthy rich). What keeps me riveted to the series is not just the amazing amount of fun I have while watching it, and the every-two-minutes-laughing-like-a-mad-thingy I do, but also the characters of Karen and Jack. While Jack is portrayed as being stereotypically (and overtly) gay and has performed brilliantly in his role, Karen is just out of this world. I start laughing as soon as she opens her mouth. There is something in her voice which I find extremely (and instantaneously) hilarious. Her attitude, her sharp and quick retorts, her squealing-like-a-kid-laugh...aah, I just can't get enough of her. Plus she has a great body....if you know what I mean. ;-)

Do watch W&G if you haven't already done so. Hell, I convinced one of my close (and previously homophobic) friends to download and watch it as well. See it for Jack and Karen, if nothing else.

Ok Ok Ok Ok....I had to update this post. I watched 'Welcome to Sajjanpur' today. It is a film by Shyam Benegal. Though the movie was slow and boring for the first half, it picked up pace in the second half. It is a satire on Indian villages. Though the movie was very good, the songs were even better. Ok listen to this one (I couldn't find it on youtube). Both the tune and the lyrics simply rock - I am literally sitting-dancing on my sofa.
"Aadmi aazad hai....Desh bhi swatantra hai...
Raja gaye Rani gayi....Ab to prajatantra hai...."

or go here and listen to the third song.

@ Swats -> Yes laa...I can be a great actor...really...I can play the angry young man (aka Nana Patekar type roles) pretty well...;-)
